Well, the "final" BtS patch (per Trip) would be good, preferably sometime soon. I definitely would prefer it before CivRev is released.

But stacked combat is already an option in Civ IV. And it works fine.
              Keep on Civin'

That has nothing to do with real stacked combat

Btw, Meier toying with the idea to make an MMO? So I wasn't that far off predicting World of Civcraft.

I predicted it, too! Teh reason I cited for disliking Civ4 is that I thought it would do to Civ what WarCraft 3 did to WC

I would suggest not, given the multitude of people that have agreed already (and this isn't even a Civ forum).

You can take it as read that if BtS is left without the final patch (as C3C was) a lot of people will feel cheated. There is absolutely no point introducing a lot of new 'cool' features if there is no resource planned to balance them, and iron out bugs. Otherwise, expansions become regressions (again, like C3C did).

I appreciate this may be an unwelcome point of view given your involvement with the game - but I (as always ) speak truth.

Are all the features in BtS? Do they work (even if half-cocked)? Are the only problems bugs/balance? Yes?

Well there's your answer. BtS IS finished. It's just buggy/unbalanced. Buggy/unbalanced is a total different thing when talking about finished. CTP2 was not finished. BtS IS. Just because people speak a falsity does not make it truth.

Except with C3C is a different thing. Civ3 sucked. Civ4 doesn't. C3C was NEVER going to be good because it's base sucked raven-asses.

You did not speak truth, you spoke a slight. BtS is finished by the rules of software development. Bugs/balance issues does not mean "unfinished". Yes, I understand I'm playing with definitions, but sometimes (as in law and constitutions) a definition can be important.

As for my involvement, yes I was part of development, but do I seem satisfied considering how much work I've put into totally changing it? Obviously not.
