You could choose to be less pompous.

For what it's worth I think I mean that you should scale down the number of segments each 'Polycast release covers (keeping only the ones that worked best obviously), but retain the length of the segments from existing episodes. With less parts you could also give it more of a theme and it would be easier to sell - and you'd probably get more downloads after the fact too.

What would you know of it?

        Maybe...

Selling is a matter of perspective.

You would have a hard time selling ice to Alaskans or a Heater to those living inan extremely hot climate.

However, by using a shotgun effect, i.e. various topics, hosts and themes to appeal to possible paradigm shift, one could hit on topics appealing to the masses tuning in.

Me, I will say I enjoy varying gamestyles, so mods or creation topics or upcoming scenario being oposted or featured would interest me.

I would also enjoy learning more A B C's of Civin, what one person or more accuartely. many members would feel is too elementary to learn, old Gramps would find very interesting.

One thing that is a "turn off" in my business world as well as personal world is an immediate slamming of the door, complete with shingle hanging outside stating NO POSSIBLE, dang, makes me want to try to get it to work.

I feel for Dan, no not because I am on Staff or a supporter of Poly, but because, he doesnt listen to a few sayers of the it isnt working, but rather, choses to continue to strive to find a chink in the armor of minimal response.

I love civin, never have I ever been addicted to a game as I have of this concept.

Am I a "good" player, certainly not close on good but more able to be yoked with the term "Top Persons who enjoy Civin", I learn something new all the time.

These production numbers Dan and many other Staff members are involved in, they help people.

Of course, like anything, being a good stewrad and using, not ignoring, a talent is what makes it valuable to others

Ok, Thats my story and I am sticking to it!

So, 30-40 minutes then? Other than Maki I'm not sure about the sweet part...

I enjoy the show much more than I expected to, but the length is too great for me to listen to every single episode. If the episodes were 25-40 minutes, I think I would listen to every one of them.
I keep a record of all my civ games here.

30 minutes is a good time. I think you might lose interest if its longer...

Can you add the feature similar to CD's that allow you to skip forward or back to certain segments? In other words, add tracks? It would also make it easier for us who listen to them in multiple sittings to locate our spot again.

You can always break up an episode into more than one sitting if you feel as a whole it's too long for whatever reason , but I hear you (no pun intended ).

I have not heard of that being possible with MP3s through i.e. Web links. I did investigate the possibility before PolyCast went public, but came up empty-handed. If I missed something or something has developed on this front since then, I'd be interested to learn more about it.

This is one of the primary reasons that during what has become earlier on in the show's run now, I started noting segment start times within the 'order of appearance' topic lists.
