  • More to Smilie About

A whopping forty-one smilies have been added for use in Apolyton Civilization Site's forums today, bringing the total to 110.

They range from those Civ series specific as found in Civilization Fanatics Center's forums to those of more general purpose.

    Use responsibly.

It has to be blue. Here's one, but I'm hoping for a better one:

He's too blue -- hard to distinguish the tears as a result -- but I prefer the pace of the crying there than in the one we currently use.

It's Dan's call, but IMO this is the only good crying smilie out there. All the other ones I've ever seen (including the one we use now) suck donkey balls.

That's a tad harsh and crudely put, but again I'm certainly open to crying smilie alternatives to the one we have now.

If tears apeard more often (alot more often) it would much better.

All the other ones out there are either way overdone or way underdone (such as our existing one), this one gets it just right. The 'fountains' of water instantly get the point across in a way that single tears can never hope to do, but at the same time it's simple enough that it's not over the top.

I vaguely remember a slightly different and static version of that smilie that was even better, but that doesn't seem to exist anymore
