Is it my fault that Asher would spam those threads with personal attacks and things that he flatly made up? I don't doubt his expertise in technology, but that is no excuse for making things up as he went along when he didn't get his way, or when the facts didn't suit him. The fact that people believed some of the things he said is testament to their gullibility.

And it wasn't just me. Go look at some of the console threads.

Tech threads are much better now. Even though they can get heated, there is no obvious and premeditated dishonesty from the contributors.

I've been working on it for a while, and it's almost done... the problem now is, if I were to post it today, Asher would claim that he was responsible for it. And he would tout at other forums how he controls everything and how he can make people do what he wants.

The truth is, it will be released after final comments by the admin and other mods... hopefully in a week or so. [/Q]

This thread has to have set some kind of record — I think I counted 240 posts in a single day (July 6). And it figures I'm late to the "party." I need to get away from my job and writing demands more often ...

Regarding Asher and KH: Hmm, well, I never really had a problem with either of them, FWIW. And, to me, 'Poly is just an Internet forum. It's not my life; I'm just a poster, after all, not a moderator or site owner. Besides, when you get down to the nuts and bolts of it all, life *outside* the Internet seems to be more relevant.

Then again, maybe I'm just getting old(er).
