So either Asher is so damned pathetic that his SO felt the need to post (he was an ass and got banned off an online message board... why you should make such a big deal about it that your SO feels the need to defend you on it is beyond me), or he's so pathetic that he made a DL acting as his SO to make a post. Also, isn't it interesting that several posters now have directly attacked me in a far worse manner that got Asher banned for defending himself, and not even a warning...
In light of these terrible double standards, I think it is high time to lift Asher's permaban!
I saw the thread in question too, Ming. LotM was being an ass and repeatedly insulting Asher. It's something many of us have been guilty of doing. The difference is, this time you banned Asher for calling him on it. Then you compounded the problem by banning him again when he complained publicly. More bannings now don't help things. Deflecting the issue doesn't help things.
The only right thing to do right now is to take a hit and unban people. Sure, Asher will parade around all proud of himself, but how is that any different from how things have been in the OT for years? How is it any worse than the current situation?
I get the distinct feeling that as this thread approaches 500 posts that this "movement" is approaching its end.

The continuing vendetta again Asher has plumbed yet more absurd depths with the banning of the mere mention of the name 'Asher' in the thread title...
This smallminded form of pigheadedness means that we can no longer discuss certain Tribes of Israel, or Christian rock bands without the jackboot of censorship falling hard on our freedom of speech.
Recent deletion of threads in the OT has pissed me off. I'm no fan of A****'s, but now I'm fed up with the Stalinist behaviour of the mods. I will try to enforce a self-imposed holiday from here.

We can't even discuss British Asian rock bands and their songs. My 'Brimful of Asher thread' was ruthlessly exterminated.
