I am Asher's SO.

I've listened to him whine about this repeatedly, and finally taking the time to view all of the threads in question, I've been able to utilize what is known as "reasoning" to determine several lies being propagate by the administration.

"Ming" is asserting Dave is "lying" and spreading "propaganda", when it's really clear that the opposite is what is occuring. Dave was not banned for quoting private messags on another site. If anyone here is capable of reading, I'd suggest you read what those PMs contained.

Those PMs indicated he was to be indefinitely banned, pending fellatio to the administration and an acknowledgement that he is to bend over at their demand and continue to be placed at a completely different enforcement level as everyone else. This is clearly not why he was banned.

The truth, as Dave has communicated to me and if someone takes a few minutes to review why he wass banned in the first place, is the administration on this site tired of him. He can be abrasive and rude, of course, but the actions the administration use only encourage such behaviour by creating conflict rather than enforcing rules.

I strongly recommend the lot of you read some basic psychology books. Without knowing "Ming"'s age, you'd think he was 18, not in his 50s.

It's time for you lot to grow up and treat this site, and its posters, responsibily.

Ban me for some arbitrary rule if you wish -- unlike Dave, I could never enjoy posting on a site that's essentially a children's playground ruled by bullies who ban people, then lie about them (I think that's legally called slander, and I'd watch out about that).

The question arises why, um "Dave", is so enthralled with "a site that's essentially a children's playground ruled by bullies who ban people" then. In an environmental context where an individual has nearly limitless choices of participation, is Apolyton truly the best fit he can find?

I haven't had time to be active on the gaming front for the last year or so, but was quite active for a few years before that and the only time I recall encountering Asher was in this 'cross-over' community forum. Having a moderate interest in Jungian psychology, the one point I took from reading his posts was that I didn't come to this site to psycho-analyze a self-destructive individual who seemed so desperate to supplant his 'local' reality.

It is up to the owners of the site to gaze at the tea leaves and project what is the best policy to facilitate community at this site, but I for one find Ming's character appropriate given the subject matter of Apolyton and his predominant sphere of influence being in the Off-Topic adjunct to a gaming site. It isn't a role he took on a few months ago to deal with Asher (interesting choice of login name there init?) when his name came up on the administration's "let's screw this guy over" RNG program...
