When I played A-train I didn't bother building railways, I just played the stock market instead.

When I got my first PC, A-Train was the piece of software I got alongside Civilization, my first PC software purchase.

I can't even recall if I installed A-Train, much less played it. I do know that I was up to 8:00 the next morning playing Civ though...
