  • What you do with AOM is up to you.

I thought long and hard about religion, eventually decided that there is a long history if inter religious wars so decided not to make religious types like each other more. Some religious wars were the most brutal in history.

    • you got a point there that I hadn't thought about; in a few cases there were a some major inter religious wars and interestingly enough, many of those are more modern.

But the crusades (muslim vs christian), the christian/muslim vs pagan/hindu wars, as well as the tendency for muslim countries as well as christian/judaism countries are more likely to stick together (except for border and political disputes) seems more of the rule than the exception. Even among the orient, most inter religion wars were more about land and politics (communism most recently). Keep in mind that Japan fought other religions because their primary religion is based on shamanism (Taoism) vs the Buddhism of the surrounding countries.

I am not trying to sway your opinion here... just trying to see if this would fit into your AOM paradigm.

Anyway, np either way. If I get around to developing it, I will offer it as an addition and you can decide if you want it to be more.

All I can say is PayPal is an accredited 3rd party paying service, that is why I am using them as I do not want the responsibility of holding credit card numbers.

One other party has sent a cheque to PayPal in their country, I was notified of the event, and payment is not made to my account until the cheque is cleared.

Another person asked for my mail address so he could send an international money order as he has no credit card.

Best I can offer, and thanks for your support.

Hi Oerdin, long time no see/hear (since Gameleague?)

Not sure what you mean, EU I liked but the random stability hits ruined the game for me and tech was a bit simple and generic. Not too mention the Netherlands revolt (game must have been designed by a Dutchman

                  )

                  • This AOM has come at exactly the right time.

Gal Civ 1 is boring. GC2 is a couple of years away.

                    Civ4 is a year away.

Looking forward to wrestling with a new game. As I remember it, CTP1 had a nightmare interface.

Ordered mine via Pay Pal. Went very smoothly. I have done business via them many times.

                        • Hope to get mine in the post this morning.

There is no way I could download 400mb. It would take at least 20 hours.

                          • I am having major problems with my Apolyton account at the moment. All my PM's have been deleted and last 4 emails to people at Apolyton.net bounced. I am also receiving a message saying I am banned when I try to access the members list to send a PM.

                              • Must be a mistake.

Although I once got banned. No reason was ever given to me.
                                No apology...nothing.
It was four years before I could post again and then it just happened, again no reason.
