Oh, I thought those were settings one could make in their browser.

In this thread, of all threads, I get a horizontal scollbar. Go figure.
Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?

          It's Agathon's screen shot.

That's because of the "Go(N)" button next to the news drop-down box at the top of each forum page. It's just a tad too far to the right.

This can be fixed quite easily, though. The news form table cell should be changed to align left.

I've tested it in Opera 7.54, IE6.0 and Firefox 1.0. The only thing it changes is that Firefox no longer gets the annoying horizontal scrollbar.
Is it possible to ask for this to be fixed?

I'm almost at the point of becoming a dedicated Firefox user, especially on Apolyton, because of the excellent BBCode extension.

The horizontal scrollbar is kinda annoying, and unlike my other browsers, there's nothing I can do to stop it.

I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

You really need to move the Go (N) button left a bit, it's the thing causing the horizontal scroll bar.

I've analyzed this a big more, and I'm pretty sure this is a Gecko rendering issue. I've reduced the testcase to a handful of lines and reported the bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=283023

                        I've also found a workaround:

Right after the code for the banner ads, change:
                        Code:
                        <Table cellpadding=1 cellspacing=0 border=0><Tr><Td align=right nowrap>
                        to
                        Code:
                        <Table cellpadding=4 cellspacing=0 border=0><Tr><Td align=right nowrap>
"The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

Mozilla's codebase is too unwieldy to get a grip on in any reasonable time, especially when I'm addicted to World of Warcraft.
