Has anyone seen this? Proposed changes to Rooney Rules:
Hire a minority head coach and move up six spots in 3rd round of draft after his second season
Move up 10 spots if hire minority as GM
Hire minority for both HC and GM in same year move up 16 spots
After coach or GM third year move up five spots in 4th round
If minority asst. leaves for another team to be a coordinator get a 5th round compensatory pick
If they go to be HC or GM previous team gets 3rd round compensatory pick
There are a couple of other ones but those are the main proposals.
Or maybe they could just enforce the Rooney Rules!

R.I.P. Gale Sayers. One of the best RB's of all time who had his career cut short. I was at the six touchdown game and also the one where he got injured. He was so much fun to watch!

Got to see him, post-injury, in Wrigley Field, 1969, sharing backfield duties with Brian Piccolo. He still put up over 100 yards rushing with 2 TDs.

Serious question: Why TF don't the Cowboys sign Kaepernick?
They're just a competent QB away from the playoffs. I see it as low-cost, low-risk, high upside. And I imagine the fans are desperate enough to put up with it so the PR hit would be minimal.
