kick return yards are extremely overrated

          rec + rushing yards = 5500 in 8 seasons

700 average total offensive yards per season

          yawn

also, receiving yards from a RB often come on 3rd and long... 10+ yards... and don't result in first downs. Basically, throwaway plays... garbage yards.

Just scroll down to the down and distance ones and you'll see that most of his catches are on first and second down. I suspect he mostly blocks when he plays on third downs.

700 offense yards per year at $3.5 mil

                        $5k per yard

someone less lazy compare that to other players

                        kthx

He's probably going to be a slot receiver, backup RB in Chip Kelly's offense.

How often did he line up as a WR in other seasons?

So much of the important things in football aren't tracked.

but I don't think there are any HoF defensive players on TB's roster

he's going to need some help
That's exactly why the McCown move makes sense -- it preserves cap space for other positions. Also, Lovie has a reputation as being a "player's coach" so he should be able to lure some talent. They've been very active, and have signed Bengals DE Michael Johnson, 27, and Titans (Pro Bowl) CB Alterraun Verner, 25 -- for less than the price of Revis ($16MM). And they have lots of cap space left.
