Drew Brees is an elite fantasy QB. Colt McCoy looks to be this year's Josh Freeman-lite in the Pat Shurmer offense (he was my desired pick for Big Ben's week 11 bye); not big fantasy numbers but coolly efficient, which could help with the new QB system. Great late backup pickup behind Brees. Colt will face off against a porous Jacksonville secondary on Brees' week 11 bye.
The RBs are like a who's who of perennially-injured trudging RBs. I just don't see how Cincinnati can keep going to the obviously mediocre Cedric Benson. Something has got to give. Jacobs will get his carries and put up near-starting numbers, even if Bradshaw plays a full season. Joe Addai is, for all intents and purposes, a clone of Cedric Benson with regards to him being a mediocre player that you just don't see the Colts continuing to rely on if they can get better play from their backups.
Juxtaposed with the sub-4.0 ypc RBs are the flashy WRs. Stevie Johnson may slump this year from receiving more defensive attention; Santana Moss came off his best fantasy season since Mark Brunell was his QB but may have erratic play from John Beck/Rex Grossman; Hines Ward is steady; James Jones is not.
Team Latino at TE
A steady TE combined with a risk-reward type in Hernandez.
Giants secondary is falling apart; the linebackers suck; I like Washington's defensive potential in its second year in a 3-4 better than the Giants with all their preseason injuries (3 CB's are out for the season). I guess. Looking at where you drafted them, I would have gone with other positions but again, that would have left you thin at RB again. I would like to say I would have passed on Cedric Benson to grab Miles Austin and then went for Ryan Grant or Deangelo Williams in Round 4 but you got Desean Jackson at a steal there and waiting to get another RB in round 5 would have given you slim pickings. It's similar to where I wound up after picking Darren McFadden and Maurice Jones-Drew where, everywhere I picked next, a WR seemed a better option than the RBs I just didn't like.Originally posted by MRT144 View Post

They both are injury concerns but I'd take the guy with 529 career carries over the guy with 1878 Even with Eli throwing 539 attempts and Brandon Jacobs getting his 800+ yards, Bradshaw still got 323 total touches and did a whole lot with them. The touches are there even though he's in a platoon and Eli throws a lot. Not only that, but even with Jacobs there, Bradshaw gets enough goal-line carries and he's actually better in short-yardage than Jacobs because he doesn't need as much of a head of steam to get going. Bradshaw had 8 TDs last year to Jackson's 6.
Younger, more efficient, more big plays, gets enough carries to be productive in even a platoon and even if the Giants throw a lot, and he actually scores more in the redzone?
