Actually my point was even worse for Luongo-- Using career numbers for Luongo means you count his rookie time and lots of Carolina time which overweights his non-playoff years. My point was that Luongo has been in the playoffs in four years. In the first year he had the stellar Dallas series and his playoff save % was higher than his regular season that year. In the three subsequent playoff runs Luongo's save percentage has been noticeably below hie sv % for that year . Pretty good game so far-- the whistles put away attitude is fine but should not extend to muggings from behind--just my view
Oh and ben the number of chances in all of game 6 is not really relevant to assessing the play of a goalie who was in for less than a quarter of that game-- Its fine to say or think that Vancouver would not win anyway that game based on the overall result but that discounts the whole idea of momentum for teams that can come after a goal (or particularly after 3 goals in 5 minutes).
