Because I said Peyton Hillis being a white HB is probably a major reason why he is beating out the Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rodgers in fan voting? What are you getting so worked up about? Are you saying that Peyton Hillis' race does not matter to anyone but dickheads or that it does matter but it shouldn't matter? I am lost as to what either of you are trying to say. I think I made my point very clearly as to why Peyton Hillis' race does matter. He was the first 1000 yard white RB since Craig James. The video I posted from ESPN tells the story... white guys are steered away from certain positions in football or certain sports period because of these perceptions that white men are not capable of the 'athleticism' of their Black counterparts. I love that the Peyton Hillises, Toby Gerharts, Danny Woodheads, and Brian Leonards not only refute that but beat down these stereotypes.

I bring up age because the dearth of white HB's is a recent phenomena so it was not a factor when you two were growing up. Trust me on this, ask any young white guy, especially one from a predominately Black background, if they ever heard such things as 'white people are slow' and 'white men can't jump' (THIS WAS EVEN A ****ING MOVIE TITLE) and you'll have your answer. Google "Peyton Hillis Great White Hope" and you'll see thousands of hits with articles with those titles.

Peyton Hillis' race does matter. Just as he said himself he gets taunted for his race even at the NFL level, there are untold hundreds of thousands of white kids who get taunted too and can relate.

While many young adult have broadened their horizons and gone out and experienced the world and tried to learn, you don't seem to have to done so... or that's how you come across and act. You seem to think that "your view" is the only view. Maybe when you grow up and get some real world experience, you will learn what most adults do... that you don't know ****. and you will spend the rest of your life trying to learn.
