  • A guard takes a kick return 71 yards to the Green Bay 4 yards line! A guard... as in the offensive lineman.

    • The Packers are scaring me. They're this good with Matt Flynn?

      • As in an NFL record for him.

Matt Flynn is a Tyler, Texas boy.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

        • Wow Matt Flynn just showed his inexperience. Holy ****. That was an ugly last 23 seconds. Holy ****.

Completes a pass for a 4th and 1 at the Pats 15 with 23 seconds left and no timeouts and the Packers offense had no idea what to do. They just stood there lost all looking at Matt Flynn who tried to call a time-out though he didn't have any and couldn't figure out what to do.

Poor Matt Flynn is going to be replaying those 23 seconds in his mind for the rest of his life.

            • Poor Brian Cushing. He's hot, but his roid rage is getting the best of him too much.

What's really weird about it is they were fighting right after another Texans defensive player got a sack. Usually guys might get angry at each other when someone ****ed up, not when a good thing happened.

He didn't heave it up, he underthrew an out route.

                  • I'm actually impressed that he only fumbled once.

                    • Yeah, I was surprised that he held onto the ball for some of the other sacks. I don't really blame him too much for the fumble, since the tackle toppled over like a dead tree and the guard ran into him trying to get to the pass rusher.

                      • Yes, his tiny hands usually resulted in more fumbles. If his hands were larger, I would have probably liked him more.

Dodge has been beyond atrocious all year though. I know he's a rookie but I've never seen a punter this bad before ever. The Giants got spoiled with Jeff Feagles. The punter is a critical position that should never be underestimated.
I'd blame the Giants punt coverage team, there were 7 Giants defenders watching Jackson pick up the ball and run past them. It was horrible punt coverage not a horrible punt. Watch the return, the only Giant player to so much as touch Jackson, is Dodge, the punter.

                          ACK!

He was supposed to kick it out of bounds.

                            • Not only that, but when the returner has time to muff the ball, pick it up, and hesitate before making a move -- that is totally the punter's fault. Even if you can't find the sideline, just give it some hang time, beyotch!

                              • I just watched the video. The snap was a tad high, but Dodge handled it fine and there was no major pressure. He was definitely aiming for the far sideline, but rushed and just pulled it.

Eagles' blocking was excellent; Giants' lane discipline was atrocious.
