I don't have Bama at the top of my one-loss teams for that very reason. I may have them overrated at #7, but other than Wisky, it's hard to find a one-loss team that has two good wins.

I am still of the mind that OSU is a better team than my Badgers.

Here is how I see the big ten, with respect to how good the teams are and not their record:

OSU>Iowa/Wisconsin>MSUFounder of The Glory of War, CHAMPIONS OF APOLYTON!!!
 '92 & '96 Perot, '00 & '04 Bush, '08 & '12 Obama, '16 Clinton, '20 Biden, '24 Harris

OSU may well be the better team. But they will almost certainly finish with the same record 11-1 as the Buckeyes (at worst--OSU could well lose at Iowa), and they beat OSU soundly. Oregon picks up first place votes at the expense of Boise in the AP poll, and Auburn jumps Boise in the USA Today poll. That plus the win over USC should help Oregon's standing with the computers, but probably not enough to jump Auburn to #1 in the BCS. But this makes it even more obvious that if Auburn and Oregon remain undefeated, Boise has no chance of making it to the National Championship game.

In fact, I wonder if TCU will jump Boise in the BCS standings either this week or after they beat Utah.Last edited by Boris Godunov; October 31, 2010, 13:27.Tutto nel mondo è burla

And TCU does jump Boise to land at #3. . Sparty and Mizzou losing helped you guys a lot. The one thing made clear this week is that Auburn and Oregon have separated themselves from the rest. Last week, Oregon was at .9069 and #3 Boise at .8846. This week, Auburn is at .9599 and #3 TCU at .8911. For those, like Sloww, who don't understand the BCS, I'll spell it out: that's an insurmountable lead without one of the top two losing.

Hell, the CW is that even if Auburn loses to Alabama, that won't guarantee Boise or TCU a slot in the NC game--it would likely go to Alabama!Originally posted by Solomwi View PostCongratulations . How many ****ing times does this need to be put to bed? They can only schedule so many OOC games per year, "big boys" are afraid to play them because they aren't a cupcake OOC team, they can't join a BCS conference for various reasons which you seem incapable of understanding and which have been discussed numerous times.Originally posted by Solomwi View PostMaybe with enough slaps to the face, they'll seek the Utah route and actually try to play with the big boys more than a couple of times a year.
