  • Dude, getting other people to make your mistakes for you is not a solution.

Frankly, I wish I had your problems.

I wouldn't be like this if money wasn't at stake. Fine, sorry. I won't ask questions.

      • No, ask away. But be aware that I'm not going to research match-ups for you, and I can't compare RBs to WRs if I don't know the scoring system.

        • well yeah, Jrabbit but that's exactly what I wouldn't want you to do. My analysis of matchups got me to start Gaffney over Maclin because, well, Orton was > Kolb, the Atlanta secondary was worlds better than the Revis-injured Jets secondary, (before this past week, the Jets had given up 126 fantasy points to opposing WR's while the Falcons only gave up 75, with 30 of that from New Orleans, so the difference was significant), etc. But intuitively, I think you would've said NO! Don't start Gaffney over Maclin! Are you crazy?

          • Damn , I'm getting lucky with matchups this year. I have the 2nd least pts against and this week I play Jag with Manning and Foster on a bye.

To be fair, you're pretty up there in points for. 5th in points for. Though interestingly enough, MRT and Guynemer are both 2-4 and have outscored you.

Not the only one... it's interesting how Imran and jon (I still don't know who that is. joncha?) have LESS POINTS FOR at 3-3 than 3 of the 4 2-4 teams (MRT, Guy, and spacedcowboy)! I mean wow. That's pretty crazy for 3 2-4 teams to outscore two 3-3 teams and for 2 of the 2-4 teams to have outscored all but the top two teams.

                Our top scorers records:
                Jag: 6-0
                Ozzy: 6-0
                MRT: 2-4
                Guy: 2-4
                Flash: 4-2

                That's pretty ridiculous.

                  • Okay thoughts on this... I don't know the specifics but a guy (tied with me for the #2 spot) in my league is quitting over his trade being vetoed. I know, vetoes shouldn't be used unless there is obvious collusion, but this trade is a bit crazy because it involved someone on IR (it is not a keeper league): Jermichael Finley (IR), Mike Wallace, Reggie Bush for Kyle Orton, Steve Smith (CAR), Mike Tolbert. Needless to say the guy trading Finley and getting Orton and company is the one mad about the veto.

I'm not the commissioner but I'm still curious. How would some of you handle a situation like this?

                        • Trading a list of IR for active players isn't collusion? Evidently, the majority in the league thought it was.

                          • Depends on the facts, Al. B's posts suggests there was no collusion. And only Finely is on IR.

Or they were jealous that they didn't take advantage of a less informed/stupid player.

                            • The trade is essentially Wallace (marginal WR2 starter) and Bush (RB2/3 has hardly played) for Orton (marginal QB1), SSmith (performing as a marginal WR2) and Tolbert (RB3). It's unbalanced, but I don't see it as a dealbreaker. As long as the guy trading Orton isn't stripping himself at the QB position, I see no reason to void it.
