I feel like you're telling me what to do but I'm curious anyway so I checked it out...

10 team draft; same rules...
First round: 1 QB taken (Brady)
Second round: 2 QB's taken (Brees and Manning)
Third round: 2 QB's taken (Cutler and Rivers)
Fourth round: 2 QB's taken (Rodgers and Romo)
Fifth round: 2 QB's taken (Warner and McNabb)

That's only 9... what gives? Who waited to get a QB?

Jaguar didn't take his first QB (Schaub) til the 9th round AFTER the first backup QB (Ryan) had been taken. Funny how things change in a year.

He ended up finishing 5-9

Jonny, Ozzy, Flash, and koyaanisqatsi were the top four.

Jonny went Warner in the 5th round; Ozzy went Manning in the 2nd; Flash went Brees in the 2nd; koyaan went Brady in the 1st.

So while #2-#4 went QB early; jonny won with a late QB.


By the way, Jaguar's draft was atrocious last year. Matt Forte, Dwayne Bowe, Julius Jones, Anthony Gonzalez, Donald Brown Did any of those guys even play last year?

And everyone went all gung ho on QB's this year because he sounded smart


I'd also like to point out that the worst QB by far was taken 4th last year (Cutler) while Schaub was very good and led the NFL in yardage and was taken 11th in a 10 team league. Jaguar had the worst picks imaginable so Schaub couldn't propel him into a good season as good as Schaub was.

So what's the lesson for this year? One of those top QB prospects is going to disappoint big time and one of these unlikely guys still left on the board is going to shine. I just hope I can snatch him up.
