I still hate 'em! I just got lucky this week I guess. Which is the problem, they are just wild card categories.

My one hold this week that may win the category for me was from a demoted closer. Such fool's luck.

OBP, HR, SB, R, RBI
ERA, WHIP, K/BB, K, QS

Possibly with TB subbed for HR.

TB/SLG > HR but I could go for any of them (I know its hard to give up HRs but...). Is that what you suggested originally? I like those stats, they make SBs the least relevant and the pitching still maintains some reason for relievers (of any kind). That leaves us trying to strike a balance between SPs (Ks, QS) and the top relievers (ERA, WHIP, K/BB). You got my vote next year

then you run this next year, but dont give me that BS - we voted on this several times with and without holds, and holds won damnit. You got that yet? I didn't keep them in against the will of the majority. And I only focused on holds after the draft, I took 3 closers and 1 was DL and another lost his job. Here's an idea: when you play me, either match my 2 set up men or dont, I dont give a damn. I've been losing the saves category but I dont whine about it. **** THIS ****, you guys lost the vote, dont blame me. I aint running any more leagues here.

its another site some poly old timers started, and several people here have leagues with both sites. We have been combining the sites in some fantasy games, like pick ems, march madness, etc. Our golf league actually has 12 people (the most ever) and is getting more competitive.

No, though I did recommend something similar at one point. Looking back at that thread, It looks I proposed something new in every post. Reducing the categories to 5 each makes it alot easier, especially the pitching stats.

If we want to make hitting more valuable we could just add SLGing on too.
Say: R, RBI, TB, SB, OBP, SLG

that aint bad, if we dropped HRs the TB and SLG more than makes up for it. I'm becoming a believer in simplicity

If you're going to starting dropping things, drop Triples. I almost say Steals, but no.

thats right, if we get down to 5-6 off cats steals become the next cat to drop. And frankly I wouldn't miss it much... Its okay but not that relevant. I could go for R, RBI, TB, SLG, OBP, Those are the essentials imo, and they're good.
