No mess. I think we simply abide by the traditions we always have--if someone doesn't show, BAPAY them what they need. Imran has every roster spot filled, except for his 2 RP. How to break those two down is anyone's guess; Wuertz is a clear pick either way, being, literally, the BAPAY. The second could be debatable; according to most depth charts, the current #1 closer who is the BAPAY is Jason Frasor. Granted, he is in a battle, but so are most of the closers still available; additionally, they are some grumblings that Minnesota is going to trade for him to replace Joe Nathan, which would make him more valuable than he already is, as the Twins will likely have more save opportunities than the Jays.



That all said, it really doesn't matter to me one way or the other, as I wasn't going to take an RP with my next pick, and I certainly didn't expect Weurtz to be available whenever I decided to take another RP. I'm just an impatient bugger.

And, of course, since EPW isn't picking, it is all irrelevent anyway. (irrelevent? irrelevant? never was good at spelling)

I think a day and a half is rude. If you don't want to monitor, leave a list. I don't give a damn how much time is left before the season starts. That's not the point. People are waiting. Checking in. All can do the same. No one's time is any more precious than another's time. We go through this crap every year. You can count on who is going to be rude. It's a given by now.

Two other people brought it up before I got involved. They just don't want to pursue it, evidently.
As far as you making 10, it would have happened without you. You didn't save the day or anything. Either be as involved as everyone else, or don't be involved. It isn't that hard to understand. Leave a list, Imran. What is the problem? Are you incapable or uncaring?
It has to be one or the other. Everyone else is capable. You're too dumb? I ain't buying that, so it must be uncaring. That's loathsome.

It doesn't make a **** how long until the season starts, Imran. I already told you, that's not the ****ing point. I also pointed out that you could change your damned picks, naturally. It's not me with the problem, and it's not only me that finds it irritating.
It's you, thinking that you're better than everyone else, that's the problem. Quite frankly, this very thing is why I wasn't going to participate. I can only stand the rudeness so many times a year. You do it in every ****ing draft, every ****ing year. Grow up.

Berz, feel free to say something at any time you find convenient. Is there a time limit or not? If not, I'll shut the **** up.
I'll tell you one thing though, don't send lists to me, if Imran can continue doing this crap. I'm done trying to facilitate the effort, if it doesn't mean anything.

we never officially started a clock this year, if the draft slowed enough to make the deadline a factor we'd go on a clock. But dont let that stop you from enforcing Sloww, thats yer job.

People can leave their lists with me, still. Imran will key how often I check in. I'm not going to make a point to swing by home to check on status if it's for nothing. Otherwise, I'll do all I can. Berz is updating rosters and trying to get the scoring parameters set.
I'm keeping up with multiple lists and trying to keep my own team straight. I think if a person doesn't leave a list, they can handle making a pick in a timely manner. That's two choices. Pick one.

I think we have the BAPAY system for just such occasions. Isn't any harm in making use of it. Imran knows the rules and that's how it goes. By the same token, no need whatsoever to take it personal or get upset over things, Sloww. Sometimes people get busy, it happens. Just BAPAY and move on.

I'm at a conference here and wasn't sure if I'd be able to make all my picks. Thankfully I haven't missed any so far, but if I was BAPAYed, I'd be ok with it. I don't think anyone should be getting personally upset over it either way though.

I tell you what, Ozzy, you talk to me when people are leaving lists with you to the extent that they leave them with me.
Until that time, don't say a damned word. I don't mind people leaving lists with me at all, but I'll be damned if I'm going to willingly take criticism from someone who hasn't a clue. Just make your pick or leave a list, same as me. I'm not being unfair. I'm asking less of..all, than I expect of me.
If Imran doesn't like it, tough. If you don't like it, ditto.
