No way was Romo coming around to you at #17, Sloww. Surely you knew that.

Silly or not, Romo has the buzz this year. Hell, Roethlisberger went at 18.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

I think Peyton was the only QB to go at a logical spot in this draft ... even Brady I took earlier than I should have, in my opinion (I just had no other good option).<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

It's more that a few of the RBs probably should have gone there, but I am super-risk-averse with 1st round RBs, and so wasn't willing to take any of the risk-prone RBs, even if their risk-adjusted payoff was bigger than Brady's. I'm illogical, but I know I am, and admit it, so it's okay, right?<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

Pretty funny, Snoop. You drafted Brady 6th. He's 7th in ADP across all major FF sites. Basically, you took him over Barber (6th in ADP). The first 5 picks were pretty standard (except for 2 of us passing on Peterson -- my own "illogical" choice). Not that big a leap.
Not many people would go to that length to explain the logic of why their action should be considered illogical.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

Randy Moss has an ADP of like 11 or something, but I think that's moronic also
What's the ADP of Adam Vinatieri? At ESPN it's 136.0, or 11th-12th round in a 12 team draft (and he's the 5th kicker in the list). ADP tells you what the average person does ... I prefer to finish above average, myself.
Mind you, I don't particularly think my pick of Brady is wrong - just that I think he should be around 9 or so, not 6. My problem was, of course, identifying #6,7,8, which I wasn't comfortable doing ...
(And I'm not entirely sure about the APete pick, myself... he's a higher risk, higher reward player; if you'd taken Addai over him, I'd have cut you some slack. Westbrook, unfortunately, is similarly high risk/high reward, so unless you have some insider info, I'd generally say AP over him... but I had #6 and #7 this year, so not much choice there.)<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

I share your risk aversion with early picks, Snoop. APete is very sexy and could have a huge LJ/LT/Alexander in-their-prime type of season. His upside is enormous, but he will be wearing a target and has an injury history.
Westbrook has exceptional consistency over the past 2 years, and his arrow is still IMHO pointing up. His week-to-week stability is anything but high risk. You rarely get that sub-10pt week with him. Given reasonable health, he's a lock for 70-90 receptions among 350+ touches. He also ranks very high in % of offensive plays and red-zone looks/touches. And his numbers stay strong through QB changes. Why you consider him high risk, I don't know.
You like Addai, I like Westbrook. Interestingly, last year, I won this Poly league with Addai (picked 5th or 6th IIRC), and I won at FFZ with Westbrook (drafting 9th). To-may-toe, to-mah-toe.

12 hour should do it. Surely. 8 hour might tax some people who find it difficult to leave a list, but 12 I would think anyone could make.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Westbrook has a high injury risk, unfortunately. Both because he's highly involved with the offense, and because he has been injured a lot in his career (and is getting up in years).
Addai's highly safe because he's young enough to be a relatively safe injury risk, and he is on the Colts, who will score lots of points regardless of his personal performance. He's also relatively secure in his job.<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.
