Heard this bizarre story on the Cubs-Brewers radio broadcast this afternoon...
Friday night, for the first time in the history of baseball, someone hit a HR, but did not get credit for scoring a run.
Bengie Molina hit one off the top of the wall. It was ruled in play, resulting in a single. A pinch runner was inserted. Meanwhile, the manager comes out to argue and video replay is invoked. The call gets reversed. Home run.
But because the pinch runner had been announced, Molina could not be reinserted. So he got a home run, 2 RBI (there was a man on), but the PR gets the run scored.

Sounds like if the replay reverses the call, it should revert to the game situation at the moment the call occurred... that's how it would be in NFL, anyway (you'd save any timeout you wanted to call, for example).<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.
