I am cheering for the Sharks, but no way the first disallowed goal wasn't a goal....how do they call that a kicking motion....or a pendulum motion for that matter?
The second disallowed one I could see, but the Stars ahve to be cursing, up 2-0 and with 2 disallowed goals, to lose 3-2 in overtime. THe series gets more interesting.
How many teams have come back from 0-3 (2) seems to mean less now, and how many have come back from 1-3 (few) means little more. Maybe the important stat now is how many teams have come back when down 2-3, and anyone has to like those odds better then any they have had up until now!

Yep, anyone want to check how many of us picked Philadelphia to beat Montreal? Oh wait, only I did!
btw, could there be a change in recent trends for new winners of the cup? The last few years have seen Carolina, Tampa Bay and Anaheim win their first cups as a franchise. San Jose in this round had the lone chance of continueing that trend (including the eliminated teams so far) so it looks like this year will see a repeat winner of the cup?

The Habs just weren't playing like they should at the most important time of year. I have a feeling now that they have the playoff experience, the next time around will be better. A good offseason and we'll only have a stronger team for next yearOriginally posted by Asher

I'm working away from home and the internet for the week so I'm going to throw out some early predictions for the conference finals now.
East: Pittsburgh in 6 games
West:
If San Jose pulls off the comeback: San Jose in 7
If Dallas finishes them off: Detroit in 6
I hope the sharks do it though, I'm not sure if I could stand to watch a Detroit/Dallas series. They are 2 of my most hated teams.Comment
