Let's keep Kazmir's amazing numbers in perspective (the other way) though... as a result of injury, he's only started 6 games. He has been 5-1, but even in a normal year (ERA+ of 130-140 [yes, so far that seems "normal" for him... ****ing McIllvaine] instead of 337), with the improved offense, I think he could match that record. Or 4-2 instead. Not much difference.

Joba starts tonight, yay. I will likely miss it, b/c I'm going to my town's public budget hearing, which starts at 7. Since he's on a ~70 pitch limit, he may be out of the game by the time I get back (figure he pitches 4 innings). Participating in democracy whilst pining for bread & circuses...
