The number itself is irrelevant since it's all relative, but if you are creating a spreadsheet or something, I suppose it would be useful...

Let's say $260, that's pretty standard in Roto leagues.

Also, let's go ahead and set it on AL players only, since we have 8 or at most 10 players if we can find another player.

Let's start talking mehcanics, since we're just over a week out.

My first option for doing this would be GTalk.

1. Does everyone have gtalk, or can you get a gtalk account? Hint: If you have a gmail account, you have a gtalk account.
1a. How many people have Skype accounts? This is another option to gtalk.

2. How many people have microphones of some sort? How many people would prefer not to do it vocally (as opposed to typed out chat)?

I tossed out my microphone many many moons ago, so unless my XBox 360 headphone would work, I'd rather type. In fact, I think I'd rather type either way, but that's not a huge deal to me.

As it stands, that is March 9th. That means 10am CDT is actually 1500 GMT on 3/16/08 I believe, if I do my math right... so that works in our advantage.

I thought you guys didn't like R and RBIs. Arent we using sabremetrics?

No, we're using the above categories (OBP, SLG, R, RBI, SB, HR WHIP, ERA, W, K, SV, H). I didn't want this to be too different from a 5x5 league so that folks not familiar with auction can have an easier time using standard auction pricing guides.
