I get the cold sweats every time he goes near the ball. I imagine his teammates do, too. His kicking is risky, his decision-making is terrifying. I think he actually panics.

Noon is only there because Ashton, like the Turnip, is devoted to the notion of at least one brick wall in the centres - a form of insurance - regardless of the possible offensive downsides.

    • But if he wanted a brick wall why not select one with other skills to offer - Hipkiss is solid in defence but offers way more in attack than Noon.

His sudden dismissal from consideration is baffling frankly.

      • Maybe he's been writing his autobiography...?

        • Why drop the #8, who made a promising debut, for a #8 who can't be match fit? I appreciate that the Azzurri back row are more than handy, but still.

          • More than that neither of those #8 lads are the form 8 in the Premiership - that honour goes to Jordan Crane currently.

I think we will leave autobiographies in their mid-twenties to the King and Queen of Wales Mobius. It's all either are good for after all.

              • And I'd rather have Henson and Church as our 'Royal Family' any day of the year than the shower that has been assigned to us...

                • Henson had a good match on Saturday. Second half anyway. Don't humour Havak and co., the Henson haters; they know he'd walk into the shower of sh*t that is the England backline anyway.

                    • Great shirt! I bet someone will actually wear it?

                      • Well Henson would walk into any back line wouldn't he? Being too bone idle to hustle to get there quickly. In the same way he avoids contact and rucks in case it musses up his hair.

                        *edit*

Oh yes some Welsh fan will wear it. How amusing in an Aussie-esque kind of way.

                        • My favourite moment of the match last weekend was Gavin's response to (I think it was) Toby Flood's break. Flood (or I think it was) stepped around Gavin, leaving Gavin sprawling. Gavin got back to his feet. In the background of the shot of (I think it was) Flood galloping down field, Gavin could be seen looking around, shrugging, suggesting none of it was his fault.

True. Not an Italian kind of thing at all.
