  • Hell, they couldn't help it. Dink a pass out there and no one is bothering to at least run with the guy.
    They did pull Romo.

      • That's right. That's what definitely put it away.

          • It wasn't 56 points, but it could have been. If it was New England, they wouldn't have stopped at 56.
The Jets are just occupying space this year. The QB had about 8 or something incompletions in a row, they punted, and Cowboys scored. The End.

            EDIT:
Quick Take: Cowboys feast on Jets

            NFL.com

            It was over when ...
Jets QB Kellen Clemens misfired on 10 throws in a row and the Jets were forced to punt for the fourth time in the second half. Seven plays later, Romo connected with Terrell Owens for his second touchdown pass of the game, putting Dallas up 34-3. The Cowboys are off to their first 10-1 start in team history.

Marion Barber's 24 TDs since the start of 2006 are second to only LaDainian Tomlinson's 41.

            Game balls
The Cowboys' defense shares the honor as it held the Jets to just 180 yards and now has a takeaway in 14 straight games dating back to last season.

            • I would like to propose a formal dividing line of 50 points total, or a 40 point lead, before any whining about "running up the score" is permitted on this site.

That's something I would be truly thankful for.

              • In which case, the Pats suck, the Cowboys don't.
                Thank you very much.

                • NFL Network must be thrilled that a Thursday game turns out to be the game of the year in the NFC. I mean, from a hype perspective.

                        • Both have most excellent teams

If them Cowboys can put the rush and heat on Favre, maybe a victory

However, if Favre can put Driver into gear again, The Pack Attack is an ominous offense to thwart!

I will do some studying on a few facts, but am leaning just a bit to the Packers, but not a final answer yet..........

                            Jones bitter about cable dispute
Owner upset 'millions' won't see 'Boys-Packers clash

IRVING, Texas (AP) -- Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is still urging NFL fans to pull the plug on cable, especially those who want to see next week's NFC showdown of 10-1 teams on NFL Network.

The Cowboys and Green Bay Packers both won Thanksgiving Day, a week before they play for the outright NFC lead.

The NFL Network has been in a dispute with large cable providers who don't carry the network on a basic tier. The network is available in about 35 million of the nation's more than 111 million homes with televisions.

"I am frustrated that we've got literally several million fans that won't get to see that game because Time Warner won't be carrying it," Jones said in the locker room after the Cowboys' 34-3 victory over the New York Jets. "I'm hot about that. I hope those fans will go to AT&T satellite or go over to a competing cable company." [I wish there were a competing cable company in my area! ]

Time Warner is the primary cable provider in the Dallas area.

Jones is the outspoken chairman of the league's NFL Network committee. His comments came just three days after Comcast, the nation's largest cable company, sent a cease-and-desist letter to the NFL Network demanding the channel's representatives stop encouraging fans to leave the cable provider.

"I know I have been given a cease and desist to quit saying that, but that is a fact [but I don't give a rat's ass]," Jones said. "It's frustrating to think millions of Cowboys and Packers fans won't be able to see it."

Fans in each local market will be able to see the game. NFL rules require that games televised on cable must be made available to an over-the-air provider in the home market cities.

I wish all games were available to us, as I have no intention of getting NFL Network

                              • I pay cable and that's all I'm paying. I'm this close |_| to even telling cable (Time Warner) to stick it up their ass.
