    In theory he should get better, but people expected him to get better last year in terms of point production, and it didn't happen. Maybe this year he'll live up to expectations, or maybe he's just a 50 point guy.

    With Kaberle, I know what he can deliver, and his track record. Even with the Leaf PP struggling last year, Kaberle put up strong numbers.

    The guy I think is going to have a breakout year is Whitney. I wouldn't be surprised if he finishes top of the league for points. The problem with being in 12th spot, is I couldn't afford to take a chance on him in the 4th round, even though I knew he would be gone by the time I got to pick again.

      It did. He played less games, same points, and he did it under Playfair. That's amazing!

      I think every single fantasy predicting agency said he'd have a breakout year. Way to take a risk.

            I was a little surprised that Phaneuf was so very good as a rookie. IN year two he focused a LOT on getting better in his own zone. He was a good defensive defenseman but he has the size, speed and strength to be something great.

            I do see that Phaneuf has good upside with both his individual and the team's potential to be better than last year-- and the likely "downside" is that he is JUST as good as last year. So solid pick IMHO.

            Kaberle is a more known quantity and also a solid pick. I note that his point production was in the 30s or 40s for all but the last two years . On an offensively minded team though he is a good bet to put up some good numbers. I do fear any Leafs plus/minus but perhaps Toskala will help that
