No info, other than he left the game and is being monitored.

In the same game, Linden pulled his groin and Salo jammed his wrist (likely was distracted by the fugly uniforms, ran into the boards)

I was surprised he was available when I picked and actually it was a tough call --- but for better or for worse I am expecting really big things out of Lecavialer-- I had both ranked higher than 9th though

I was thinking that way too but with the "big 3" gone, I see a bunch of keepers that have potential to be great . Frankly though, none of them compel me to pick them ahead of the skaters available right now

Early reports are that Luongo's injury is minor

Vancouver Canucks winger Taylor Pyatt scored a pair of third period goals to give Team Blue a 4-3 win at the annual intrasquad game in Victoria, B.C., but the game proved costly as Roberto Luongo, Sami Salo, and Trevor Linden all left with injuries.

Pyatt's late outburst was overshadowed by a Brad Isbister one-timer late in the first period that caught Luongo up high. He lay face down on the ice for more than a minute before being escorted to the dressing room.

Luongo did not return to the ice but head coach Alain Vigneault wasn't concerned.

''Lui has been in this condition before,'' Vigneault said. ''We've seen it before in the past, it's just part of the game. He'll be fine in the morning.''


Defenceman Sami Salo left the game after jamming his wrist. He was put in a cast and will be re-evaluated Monday. The club is unsure if the wrist is broken.


Trevor Linden left the game with a pulled groin and he too will be re-evaluated Monday.

Also today, the Canucks reduced their training camp roster by four players. Marc-Andre Bernier, Mario Bliznak and Colby Genoway were assigned to the Manitoba Moose of the AHL while Chad Brownlee was released.

The Canucks play their first exhibition game Monday night against the Anaheim Ducks at GM Place.
