and if Yanited prevail tonight the Circus are the only Premiership top four team to not have reached the European Cup Final since the Russian tanks rolled into town.
A) that Lampard isn't fit to lace Stevies boots
B) that both Cole and Drogba are a disgrace to the game
C) that Robben hasn't been a decent player for the last 2 years
D) that Terry is a world class defender, to play along side Essien at centre half in a CL semi final and only concede once is some feat

Drogba was sad as ever.
Cracking game, Liverpool - Chelsea. The mood at Anfield sounded immense as usual.
It wasn't a good game but it was tense. That's the difference with Italian games, English games can be great even when they are bad.
The atmosphere was brilliant though, the images after the game were chilling.

I didn't think it was a great game. It was a very tense match and high tempo at times but mostly there was really pretty poor football from both teams. Liverpool created almost all the chances and deserved the win, the atmosphere was great, but it was by no means a classic match.
