Don't blame Jeremy, the Tigers offense has been sucking something fierce so far.

Though they do appear to be getting a little better recently.

The offense sucks, arguably their best pitcher is on the DL and Rodney has totally blown 2 games. Yet, they are 9-5 and have the best record in the AL.

How good can this team be if they start hitting on all cylinders.

I said so last year and I will say it again, they are still the most underated team in baseball.

He was due for a ****-up

I watched the game at work today thinking

a) Tigers are gonna be 10-5 (best record in baseball)

b) Bonderman is finally gonna get a win after going 9 innings and only giving up 1 run last week.

and then the dreadful c)

c) Jones hasnt given up a run all season and hasnt blown a save.

I still say 9-6 with, 3 or 4 games blown by the bullpen and many of the star hitters doing lousy, this team is gonna do just fine.

And I still say that Bonderman, Verlander, and Robertson aren't gonna keep this up forever. Yes, the bats will be better. But the starters are gonna get worse, and the bullpen will likely follow suit.

If the bats come alive before the pitching starts to trend down, they'll have a good shot at the postseason. If not, they are ****ed.

I've got Jason Giambi, and he's not likely to crack my lineup behind Morneau. I'm willing to move him for an OF or a SP.

(I'd also consider trading Morneau.)
