Yeah, it'll be a much better game, but England will lose. They have never won big games in major competitions for years and years.

Every England game is totally different, no matter who we play. You have to take things from every game, and build over time. Even if we only learnt one thing, we should discount it if it's against poor opposition? I doubt there's any national team coach in the world that does that, even McClaren.

Crouch is a far better player than he is given credit for - although Arsenal were pretty poor and didn't really seem up for it.

Unfortunately I just copied that edited list from another forum. I don't have the original source, but you're right that Pompey have spent a fair bit. They've had some good deals though - like Sol Campbell on a free.
