It's definitely a weird night when the only Canadian team that wins is Ottawa.
And, just wanted to say it's great having you guys around to yap about hockey. Even when I'm too busy to post messages, the threads are always a good read, or at least a good laugh.

yup that was the strangest. But then again Anaheim tends to let down against the weak teams. IIRC they have losses against LA, Philly and now Phoenix and that makes up more than half of all their lossesOriginally posted by notyoueither

It was actually an excellent hockey game.... one of the best regular season tilts this season. Asher had it right, this one was a "matter of inches" game. Just seconds before the Sharks tied it 1-1, the Flames hit a solid post.
But lots of games are like that and woulda, coulda shoulda yada yada yada
Bottom line is that the Sharks appear to be a slightly better team overall than the Flames right now. IMHO the Flames stack up pretty good against EVeryone else in the West but will need to improve to be as good as SJ and AnaheimYou don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto LuongoComment

My talk of Kipper rarely having bad nights has made it happen. A few games in a row sub-par, but 4 goals against now vs Vancouver.
That said, the whole team isn't playing well since the snow-day in Colorado...
