Moaninho thinks seeding should be based around winning your own league twice, rather than historical results in Europe.

Well in the last 3 years Chelsea have reached 2 Champions League semi finals, and the second round (against Barca) wheras ManU have reached the second round, a QF and been knocked out bottom of their group. It's ridiculous that ManU are seeded and Chelsea aren't.

But the system uses 5 years of results, with no weighting for recent season results. One thing is for sure, if ManU have a poor Champs League season this year they won't be seeded next year. Their current high rating is mainly based on semi final 5 years ago.
