All of the WPC posters who post in both forums who complain about how rude poly is and nice WPC. Yet they only come here to trash people. The problem isn't poly, it's them. They can't behave themselves unless there is extreme moderation. I'd rather they just stay over there, if they like it so much and can handle posting here.

Exactly, they come over here deliberately trolling and yet our mods welcome them with open arms, nary a deleted post here or a permabanning there...

WPC posters insist I am the reason Apolyton is/was in a state of stagnation and/or decline. They were seriously delusional posters that were actually the ones directly involved with the decline of Apolyton:
- DanQ focused on the stupid Podcast/Radio **** instead of putting actual, honest-to-god news and content on the site. A stale website is a dead website: Internet 101.
- Solver and Locutus were part of the tech team when the server was ridiculously slow and unstable and drove posters away in frustration.
- Dale issued death threats and flamed anyone who criticized his mods
- All of them ignored my repeated requests to help the site until right before they left. Solver finally gave me database access to Apolyton a few weeks before WPC launched. I'm still not sure if he did it hoping I'd just **** up the site and therefore help WPC, or if he just didn't care anymore.

Rather than admit their own failures, they jumped ship from Apolyton and made me up to be the figurehead of the downfall of the site. They still have a bunch of people over here buying into that, like notyoueither. There's no accounting for sensibility.

Of course it does, Asher has been practicing martyrdom of this kind for the past 3 years at Apolyton. He seems to enjoy trying to get rid of moderators to show off his trolling power over the Internets.

When you realize that he feels no remorse for lying, you realize that an episode like this was completely foreseeable and is not worth getting worried about. Based on what I have seen here, I have 100% confidence in our moderators and their judgement

One thing I do know is you have lied in this thread by asserting I said anything at all about Lancer's wife. I've not lied about anything. I've openly linked to my posting history for everyone to review if they suspected I was lying.

I love the martyrdom comment, its so true! He's of course crying foul at CG, or maybe Poly too, the tried and true 'Asher the victim' crap so the mods here will feel bad about what they've done and let him back to create more trouble. BTW, Solver has confirmed for me that he received multiple requests via PM as soon as I made my first post on that site requesting I be banned.

Let's just stop any pretense that the posters at WPC are reasonable. It's clearly a combative collection of posters that just happens to get along with eachother, which isn't hard considering how few posters there are. If I went off and made my own site with 75% of the people in Poly's OTF, we'd have the same kind of friendly atmosphere.

It's easy to get along at WPC when the posters there call for the permabanning of anyone they don't like.

That explains the bosses, but I'm thinking of ordinary posters like Lancer, VJ, Ali, etc. that had virtually nothing to do with this backroom wrangling. Why not just put you on ignore? Is that so hard?

Lancer threw a fit because a lot of people here started telling him to his face his Filipina recruitment stuff was kind of creepy. WPC embraced it (and they even deleted posts critical of the Philippines -- see Lancer's previous thread where he tried to assassinate the character of Aeson). Aeson made a post basically explaining the truth about the Philippines after he got there, that things were not as they were promised in one of Lancer's famous sales pitches. Those posts got deleted from WPC and Aeson hasn't posted since (that I can see)...

VJ has just been on the wrong side of many beat-downs. He came out of nowhere about a year ago and attacked me in one thread, before that he wasn't even on my radar. He seems to have an intense dislike for me and he makes it known -- I've no idea why, nor do I particularly care.

A lot of the posters are there because it's an opportunity to be part of a new clique. Perhaps they felt Poly too cliquey and they didn't fit in, I don't know. There's certainly a bunch of pretty normal posters over there too (Nikolai, Wezil, SlowwHand, etc) but you'll note that the normal people also still post here...
