The Republicans have become a white nativist protestant religious party who objects to immigration as a whole because the people who are immigrating are not white Anglo-Saxon protestants. As a white Anglo-Saxon protestant this is obvious to me. They hate blacks, they hate Hispanics, they hate Asians... In fact fear of the "other" has been the defining feature of the Republican platform for the last 50 years.

I do believe in the Constitution, I don't know where you miss read that. I said the government is violating it, so many politicians break their oaths everyday with some of the laws they are passing.

Honestly, prominent Republicans are pretty damn dumb. I sympathize on a lot of things, but I'm always annoyed at how the people who represent the right-wing at a national level are anti-intellectual twits. Sean Hannity is my arch-nemesis.

I always find it funny when the people who have the biggest hard-on for the Constitution are so willing to set it aside when immigrants come up. The Founders were unusually explicit in leaving matters of naturalization and regulating non-naturalized aliens within the federal power, and it wasn't by accident. If you don't like it, amend it.

When you are pulled over by a police officer you supply them with identification which then then run through the system to prove either legal or not, etc. This is not an infraction against personal freedoms and rights.

The Constitution is to protect the rights and freedoms of all citizens of the United STATES of America.

You do understand the very important distinction between a "right" and a "power," don't you? The Constitution not only "protects rights" of people but also prescribes specific powers of governments to the exclusion of others. Those are dual purposes. Do you even know what a Constitution IS?

For someone who claims to have sworn an oath to defend the Constitution, it appears you still need a 9th-grade-level understanding of how a federalist system's dual sovereignty works. I sincerely hope that you're not a representative sample of our military as a whole, because your total ignorance of the Constitution you defend seriously makes me question my own intentions to serve.

OK starting here, that USC does not note that filing a form 1040 is required by law.

Your overstepping your bounds now. You cannot dictate to someone what they do or do not believe in. The Constitution was made before the federal government was. The Constitution are the set in stones guide lines that our country will abide by. See I am what you might call a Constitutionalists, a traditionalist. The Constitution has been amended over time to recognize changes in time, but these later amendments that take power from the people and place it in the hands of the federal government are illegal. The government, the presidency, and all under offices are for the people, by the people. There for, with-in reason *as in not intelligence and military files* all actions are able to be scrutinized by the populous. From what I can piece together is that your way of reading the Bill of Rights and the Constitution is right, and mine is wrong. Each amendment can be read any way you want to read it. Right to bear arms, but only this many and of this type, and only this many bullets at a time, and etc. With every right your willing to give up is one step in the wrong direction.
