That is the perception. The reality is that Che made a thread that was a lame troll. Ozzy added a poll and posted his own thread. Those threads were begging for a merge.

Poly throw histrionics when Che's thread, even though it was the original, was superceded by Ozzy's thread, and deleted.

I would have deleted Che's thread anyways, there wasn't any content in it that wasn't in Ozzy's and Ozzy's had a poll.

The hell it was. If over one half of Christians in the US support torture (and that doesn't include those who don't consider "enhanced interrogation techniques" to be torture), that's news. It points out the utter hypocrisy of the majority of those claiming to be adherents of a religion based on peace and love. That's news and it points out a very serious problem in this country.

Aside from that, Plomp isn't even on my radar. So even if I was trolling, I would have had people like Sloww, TMM, and BenK in my sights, not Plomp.

I was very wary of the direction Plomp was going to take the site. I am certainly not comforted by the idea that Dale will be unbanned or the deletion, and then merging and renaming of my thread with Ozzy's.

I didnt say I agree with the merge or the fact that Che's thread was originally deleted. If someone other than Che had started it, I would have no problem with the thread as a legitimate topic. Given the constant anti-christian dogpiles on BK, I'd say it was a troll. In any case the thread is back with the same title.
