  • Have Netanyahu and Trump finally killed poly?

Everyone's stopped posting since Trump's latest, most catastrophic idiocy.

I can only surmise that everything I've been warning about has come to pass and no one has a response other than meekly accepting my big fat 'I told you sos'...

I would point to them: The US as a whole, Israel, Bush, Biden, Trump, Ukraine, Russia, Putin, China, the climate, energy security...

The list goes on and I've been vindicated with everything - never knowingly proven wrong...

I would point to countless threads and posts, countless predictions that have all come to pass...

But then someone thought it would be funny to delete half my posts and entire threads... 🤷

Anyway, I know and you know, so it's irrelevant that they're gone, rather a final admission that I've been right all along 🙂

I do think a lot of good will ultimately come from all this, like Israel and the US will finally be seen for what they are...

And it's not Trump. He's just an honest manifestation of what's always been there. This is the fault of the people, he is just the symptom of the deep structural sickness of the country. The same with Netanyahu. Moreso in Israel's case...

The is hubris on a grand scale.

I would definitely contest that your predictions have been borne out or even mostly borne out but I don't post here to explain why I think that is the case. I don't like to post here about it because almost everybody here will agree with me that it was stupid, reckless, and even shockingly immoral given almost anything that Trump could reasonably be assumed to be able to find out about the situation when he started it. You enjoy talking about disasters/atrocities I guess. I'll hazard a guess that nobody else here really does.

Well, it's certainly hubris, can't argue with you there.

I should go back through mine too. I saw all this coming but it's like the curse of Cassandra.

But now, it's time for the ultimate humiliation of the US at the hands of Iran. This is the point where Trump does what Trump does in his geriatric rage. Then a humiliating defeat for the US. And the eventual suing for peace by the US with huge concessions and reparations to Iran. And the end of the US empire as no one will ever take their bluster seriously again.

This is vastly worse than Vietnam because Iran holds the Strait of Hormuz.

And this is probably the biggest strategic blunder in history. Offend and alienate all their allies, start a war without a plan, without preparation, with the only thing going in being monumental hubris and arrogance. Then demanding that those allies help you at once but by this point, everyone is done with Trump and his petulance. With an armed forces that, it turns out, aren't equipped for the reality of modern warfare, the irony being of he'd helped Ukraine, shared with Ukraine, learnt from Ukraine, he might have been in a far better position. Staggering stupidity and hubris.

A land invasion is imminent and it will be a massacre. And the Iranians will exploit it. Expect to see Iranian public squares filled with your mutilated war dead hung up for all to see, dripping with gore, the pictures disseminated en masse through social media for the whole world to see, including the poor families of those dead combatants. And it will all be on Trump and the MAGA regime. I don't think the US is ready for that kind of humiliation, it's a psychological game you are not prepared for, but is Iran's trade.

Zugzwang is the term in chess. Every available move worsens your position.

Did you end up voting for Trump?

I remember I mocked you viciously for your deep stupidity for even considering it - ridiculing you further when you doubled down in the face of your obvious stupidity... 😅

I know you're incredibly slow, but I hope even you came to your senses! Problem is, I can't see you voting for Harris, and I can't see you wasting your vote by voting for no one... 🤨

Not sure if you're aware but 50 years ago the US pulled out of a Southeast Asian country known as Vietnam after a prolonged conflict that cost the lives of 50,000 American soldiers and accomplished nothing, not even the elimination of the opposing head of state.

I'm guessing none of you have the slightest idea how epically Tweedle Psychopath and Tweedle Psychopathier are lurching the planet to a global cliff-edge of calamity affecting virtually every man, woman and child in the world...?

This needs to be ended within two weeks, though the first big deadline is actually today...

I guess Netanyahu likes to 'mow the lawn', it just never occurred to me that he meant the entire global population! 😅

I posted that I voted against Trump via Harris but it wasn't because I anticipated him doing any of this, although I did anticipate him effing up support for Ukraine. I only voted against Trump because of his narcissistic handling of the Jan 06 riots that he waited hours to call upon to stand down along with his childish refusal to acknowledge that he lost the election under the rules of that election. If not for those actions at the end of his term I probably would have voted 3rd party protest vote in the face of Harris' appalling campaign.

If I had known all of the crap he was going to pull in this term, I would have given a vote to Harris even if he'd been a perfect angel after he was voted out in 2020.

Didn't you. Because everyone was warned. Everyone knew about Project 2025. We knew about it in the UK. We knew the dodgiest of billionaires (Thiel, Trump, etc) lined up behind him with their "theories". It was a disaster waiting to happen for an ever-more-addled President.

What was not to see? Maybe the exact details and timings but this was obvious.

Except this time there is that little matter of the Straits of Hormuz that could sink the entire global economy and lead to the deaths of countless millions in famine, perhaps on an unprecedented scale.

                          LOL.
