Might Musk (who is more anti-trans than the majority (which includes parts of the left and the right) who oppose minor transitions, support biological female-only spaces, and oppose transexuals in biological female sports)) put radical anti-trans people into power? What do you not understand, I have a passport! They are confiscating trans gender people's passports at exit. As passport are government property nothing I can do. My birth certificate is set at female, the dick's in the red state I was born in will not allow me to change it back. The state I live in requires everything to match. in order to update my passport everything has to match. I'm in a catch 22 and now I am effectively trapped!

Before the election was decided a lot of Investment by Prison Systems in political campaigns. Likewise now a lot of politicians are investing in Prison System stocks.

With countries refusing the mass depotortation, internment camps are being built in Texas and even Guantanamo Bay. Talk of costs considering work for the detained as a possibility.

Elon Musk spoke in front of the far right parties in Germany and UK, demanding an end to Nazi Guilt!

I feel compelled to point out that this was even more true of the previous administration, where the president spent an indeterminate amount of time, but almost certainly more than a year, too demented to function, and presumably increasingly impaired for some time before that. We may never know which people, in what combinations, were responsible for what decisions. Media outrage over this was muted as soon as it was clear that Biden would not be running again (though he would continue to "govern" through early January). This strikes me as a potentially interesting metaphor for the Democratic party/the American Left, but does not fill me with confidence in Trump's opposition.

Well, what do people want that's more extreme than that? Was anybody actually calling to make it impossible for trans people to get passports, for example? Because the thing Thorn is freaking out about sounds more like Trumpian carelessness/incompetence/indifference to probable consequences of actions than active malice. Putting trans people in camps--how much support would there be for that? Also, IIUC gender dysphoria is highly comorbid (insert more pleasant/neutral term than "comorbid" if you like) with autism spectrum disorders, which in turn correlates strongly with skill in tech jobs, which are highly desired by people like the techbros currently supporting Trump (Musk notwithstanding). I've heard that trans computer programmers are really quite common in many companies. But of course the trans phenomenon seems to be intrinsically heterogeneous, due to being a matter of self-identification.
