Youtube video helps explain the panic, apparently a news agency got data on ground temperature showing 48 C whereas normal weather reports give the air temperature 6' above the ground where it would be ~32 C

so like when its really hot, say 100 F for a football game the turf is even hotter, like 120-130 F

19,000 brits evacuated without a single death amongst raging fires

              that west considers as success
but hindus consider as failure? maybe

I worked in a semi open air warehouse near Phoenix 40 years ago where it would hit 125 F inside, fans kept the air moving and it was so dry I'd argue 100 F and humid is worse

                  humididty does make everything worse

I posptponed my visit to NYC because of that

it makes ity worse for you. it is insufferable

for forest fires humidity is better than 0% humidity that reigns all over Greece
(which is th ebest weather ever everywhere btw)

I'm not saying climate change or anything

But I don're remember such persistent high temps. Thankfully Greece is in a position to not give a freck with ACs etc

but i don't remember that hiogh temps for so long persistent

it is still better to have that high temp WITHOUT humidity (there is 0% humidicty but that makes forests turn ablaze much easier)

                          Greece is 0% humid

when people started arriving in europe, greeks were the first. so they picked the best lands.

go ask the finns how they like their country
