Mr President: "take this vaccine, you wont get covid or spread it to your family"

Joe Schmo: "I got vaccinated and I got covid and now my parents are dead"

    No podium for you!

Of all the things to object, RFK wont force me to be vaccinated. Outrageous! And he's the crazy one.
Joe Schmo got vaccinated and is wondering why his parents (with unknown vacc-status) died???

Yes. Garbage and human excrement. It was a huge improvement in human public health when cities started to care about sanitation. Same with vaccines.

Also, bobby Kennedy is against a lot more vaccines, not just the COVID one.

Maybe you could import Boris Johnson and elect him as president

The COVID vaccines are dangerous and mostly ineffective since omicron. More and more countries are suspending boosters because they're finally accepting the truth about them.

Not to mention that Covid strains have gotten far less deadly compared to the early strains.

Joe knows why they died, he gave them covid after he was told that wouldn't happen.

Jeez, again? As a certain Polytubby used to tell us constantly: "Get over it."

No, Joe wasn't told it wouldn't happen, just that the risk would be lower. If he didn't got vaccinated the risk would have been way higher.

"During a July 2021 CNN town hall, U.S. President Joe Biden falsely stated that "You’re not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations," and "If you’re vaccinated, you’re not going to be hospitalized, you’re not going to be in the ICU unit, and you’re not going to die."

all of which was false... and he wasn't alone, the covid narrative was get the vax to protect family and it was a pandemic of the unvaccinated. The vaccinated were spreading it to the unvaccinated and these aholes were blaming them. July is when I got my 1st shot, dont rewrite the history I lived thru.

So naturally Democrats made a stink about Trump speculating about bleach while they were telling people the vax prevented infection. People didn't run out and inject bleach, but the vaccinated did run out and get covid and brought it home to their families.

Anyone who actually thought getting vaccinated meant they couldn't spread the virus is a freaking idiot.

Most people I know who got vaccines got them in 2021. And by what measure do you mean dangerous?

I guess I should say that we vaccinated our kids in early 2022 (first booster for older, first vaccine for younger), and I got a late booster (my second), but a lot of people I know weren't getting boosters in 2022 and (outside of our school community) weren't vaccinating their kids.

edit: my understanding is that people decided Omicron + later was flu-like and mostly don't get flu vaccines, so ....

We mostly stopped taking precautions last fall. There are still a lot of people around us who mask up and take other precautions though.

COVID vaccines slash risk of spreading Omicron — and so does previous infection

But the benefit of vaccines in reducing Omicron transmission doesn’t last for long.
