Speaking of using Nukes. I wouldn't be here without them. Dad was scheduled in the first wave for the invasion of Japan. After the surrender, he was also involved in the dismantling of the Japanese shore defenses. It was obvious that the Marines would have taken horrific losses.

This is an example of when Nukes should be used. The use of nuclear weapons on Japan, while horrific in its own right, saved the lives of literally millions of Japanese and Americans. This is totally different than the type of use you keep spouting off about.
