classic headline debunked... Neandertals bury their dead with flowers
well, maybe they did but the evidence for the claim has another explanation. The idea about the flower burial came from pollen found in Shanidar cave in N Iraq dating back 65k
the pollen may have come from ground dwelling bees, it explains a few holes in the flower burial
