I'll be keeping a close eye on 'breakthrough' deaths over time for Pfizer with and without boosters. So far Israel had to go with boosters for more vulnerable groups and covid is spreading easily among vaccinated populations. Doesn't sound good, I'll probably need a booster in a few months. I'm convinced they made a mistake giving 2 shots so close together, but the rush was to get people vaccinated I guess. I wish I had the luxury of waiting 3 months for the 2nd shot so my body had to work harder.

A vaccine trains your body to produce the antibodies needed to fight off a particular disease. It does not give a 100% unconditional guarantee that you are completely safe from that particular disease. Vaccination significantly reduces your chances of coming down with that particular disease. The definition has not changed.
