...Nine more thrilling themes to go...

So I been edumacting my ownself in the "Styles Manager", which is what the fruitflies at vBulletin are calling themes these days, "Styles".

There's 16 themes installed that only Admin Visiontm can see. -Plus the one I've been making since yesterday. I finally figured out a workaround today for I can't get at the logo. You're not missing much, pretty generic things w/ a vB logo. But the other Dark theme -I've renamed it Also Dark- is better-looking, IMO, with the Poly logo added:

And the one I've created is a real retina-burner. I was thinking of AAHZ, 'cause I've been working on his legibility problem in PM backgrounds in Dark...

-I call this magnificent beauty Mongo.

I'm up against two problems -besides not being able to change the logo proper- which is, for some reason, tweaks to the themes available won't take, so no luck so far with those light PM backgrounds in "Dark", and --- these two winners screenshotted? When I turn them on for members to use, they break.

They're turned on now; see for yourself. Turned off, they work fine for me. -They look like the screenshots. (You can escape by scrolling all the way down and finding the default link almost at the bottom, just above the copyright stuff.

I 'spose I ought to screenshot and post looks at the other 15 themes, shouldn't I? I'm gonna figure this out eventually...

I think I've saved all the civII smilie-scale images worth anything as smilies. Uploading what's left ought to take at least an hour. It's a crazy lot of stuff, and all gold...

Made a Metaliturtle smilie last night - and I'm pretending it's in honor of his pending nativity...

This, except the first version Robert Plomp (CyberShy) put up was missing the small slot in the A, so it was fully an uppercase delta.

And it turns out I had the font only close. Times New Roman is almost identical, but a teeny bit narrow...

The first greek civ 2 site was Mark G's forum. The ultimate civ 2 site was Dan Q's forum. They both joined together to make apolyton (which afaik means 'ultimate' in greek, clever in it?).

Leaving one workout the other doesn't really make sense.

Still better than the Dpolyton one
