  • Trump doesn't seem to be laughing.

    • Ruh Roh! 538’s polling aggregate now shows 50.1% of Americans think Trump should be impeached. Reaching 50%+ is a significant milestone. If the number were to go above 55%, I think it would indicate the Dems have a decent chance of getting the majority in the Senate in the next election if the Senate decides to acquit Trump.

      • Yes. I think Trump, and all his Slytherin family, should be impaled.
There's nothing wrong with the dream, my friend, the problem lies with the dreamer.

            • The Demoncrats are depriving Trump of his inalienable human right to be president.

And the American people to choose their President.

                • At lease Hillary didn't talk about armed revolution if she lost like Trump seems to infer if he loses in 2020. Which sounds more democratic to you.

Choosing your president comes with the knowledge that that president may be impeached.

Not for "coercing an ally" when he didn't even do that. And not when the process is corrupt.

Just more excuses, lies, deflection... Unlike the brain dead trumpets, I will await the facts...
Plus, the only person corrupting the process is the moronic president. He wants people to lie to defend him, threatens witnesses, orders people not to testify... he is the corrupt one, not the process

To ensure separation of powers and coequal branches, impeachment is entirely in the hands of Congress. If you think the process is bunkum, convince your senator to acquit if impeachment gets through the House. Otherwise you've got nothing to complain about.

You think the Democrats doing this in the House is treating the Executive Branch as a coequal?!

Checks and balances, you disingenuous ass. You really want this guy as King, don't you?

                          • I'm not complaining so much as I'm pointing out the facts. I actually hope they impeach him for "coercing an ally."

                            • I don't really care how they're "treating" the executive branch. They are exercising their constitutional power. Given how much power Congress has ceded to the President over the last two centuries, we've got a long way to go before the balance has shifted too far in the direction of the legislative branch.
