So than you don't really care about having coequal branches of government.

If you support the current distribution of power between branches, you don't either.

The majority of amerians wanted to have Hillary as PotUS ...
it is only due to the advantage given to the GOP thanks to the antiquated electoral college system, that Trump was able to become PotUS

I don't, neccesarily. Basically what we have is policy dispute where one side has abused its power in a huge way and they are doubling down and abusing their power more because they don't like the outcome of an election.

The electoral college is not antiquated. Nonsense.

I agree. That's why the president needs to be impeached.

The idea behing the electoral college was, to have the uneducated masses elect educated people out of their midst who then would, together with the other members of the electoral college, without being hampered by party loyality (because at that time there were no political parties yet) suggest presidential candidates and vote for them.

The electoral college became obsolee as soon as political parties emerged in the USA as well (after around 2 elections) and electors of the electoral college became hampered by party loyality.
The idea behind the electoral college becamé deader than a dead horse, as soon as people began selecting their parties presidential candidate via primaries ... and (in mostr states) the eletors got sworn in to, if elected, choose the presidential candidate of their party.

Nowadays the sole function of the electoral college is, to give the presidential candidate of the GOP a better chance at winning the election, even if it is against the wishes of the majority of voters.

All the states agreed to the electoral college. That's how one nation was created. Now you have to when states to win the election. If you can't do that too bad. That means you suck at winning. You have two choices. First, you can propose policies to won those states. Second, you can GTFO.

The party that controls the executive branch, the judicial branch, and half the legislative branch is the establishment.

The establishment isn't a party. It's controls both parties. The only anti-establishment Rs in the Legislature are in the House. That's why you don't see any resistance to this impeachment in the Senate. That doesn't mean they will remove him from office because that would be suicide. The Supreme Court has not part in this.

But you don't even mention the nonelected officials in the government who are clearly the establishment.
