Trump was not the accuser. He was the accused. He doesn't even have to testify. Did you learn any of this as a police officer? Did you participate in investigations? Did you conduct witness interviews?Originally posted by Donegeal View PostYou are correct rah. That's the point I was getting at.I drank beer. I like beer. I still like beer. ... Just trying to follow your logic. You said written testimony was unacceptable. trumps only testimony, in anything while he was president, was written. Sounds pretty clear cut that you should then believe trumps testimony was unacceptable.Founder of The Glory of War, CHAMPIONS OF APOLYTON!!!

Again, he was not required to give testimony at all so how can it be unacceptable. He was helping the investigation even though the investigation was unfair to him.Originally posted by Donegeal View PostJust trying to follow your logic. Okay, so when someone is required to give testimony, they are required to give it in person.Founder of The Glory of War, CHAMPIONS OF APOLYTON!!!

To establish a case you need acceptable testimony from witnesses. When someone accuses someone of a crime they need to be interviewed.Originally posted by Donegeal View PostOkay, so when someone is required to give testimony, they are required to give it in person.I drank beer. It has to be like a criminal trial if you want to establish guilt.Originally posted by giblets View PostI mean, written testimony is technically hearsay but there are many situations where hearsay is permitted in court. Also, impeachment isn't the same as a criminal trial.I drank beer. I like beer. I still like beer. ... Do you like beer Senator?

The only person you're going to convince of this, is yourself. Everyone else sees it as you just making stuff up to fit your story. But keep trying. Your attempts at logic are entertaining. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

That's not answering the question. Is someone who is required to give testimony required to give it in person?Originally posted by Kidicious View Post

It they don't it doesn't weigh much. A judge will take it sometimes in civil cases but they want the witnesses to come to court to answer questions and so that they can check body language etc...Originally posted by Donegeal View Post
