      That's true, he ruled from 1547 to 1584 as a great Tsar of Russia. Before that, he was the Grand Prince of Moscow from 1533 to 1547. Ivan died from a stroke while playing chess. I had some Russian history lessons at the university and also wrote an essay on a related topic
