Only season 1 was ever available on Netflix here, and now they even pulled that.

Oh well, I'll consider getting the books once I lower my 'pending' pile a bit. (I bought two recently, and my wife gifted me George R. R. Martin's Fire and Blood hardcover, so I'm covered for a bit).

Do they have "public" libraries in Argentina? All the James S. A. Corey books I have read have come from the library.

There are some, although they don't tend to have much sci-fi. And definitely no books in English.

She read Harry Potter but hasn't touched the rest of my SF, even the ones I strongly recommend to her.

She does like watching stuff and very occasionally we watch stuff together (less because we have difference of taste and more because I don't feel like I have the time). I think (am I wrong?) that the Expanse would be enjoyable to watch.

I did not mean to imply that the book is good, but the TV show is not. I meant that if she liked the book, she would be more likely to agree to watch the show.

What a pity.
The Expanse somehow has a little bit of both shows.

The dirtyness of BSG (with plots here and there) as well as the being a little bit concentrated on one small ship and her crew (well, unlike Firefly not totally, however ... there usually are several threads of narration that run in parallel, although the Rocinante (or parts of her crew) often is on the focus of several of those narrations)

Yeah, Expanse is very enjoyable to watch, however I saw people saying books are still way better, so I'm afraid to read them now because it might ruin the series for me. I might take a plunge though because reading is important for me since I work for pro-essay-writer.com/blog/apa-style-format and I need to expand my vocabulary and writing skills by reading different literature.
